How We Began
Our Story
Harvest Mission Church was established in Burnaby, British Columbia with a simple yet profound conviction: that every person in our city deserves to experience genuine community, practical support, and the life-changing hope that comes through faith in Jesus Christ.
What began as a small gathering of families committed to serving their neighbourhood has grown into a vibrant, multicultural congregation drawing members from across the Greater Vancouver area. Our growth has never been about numbers — it has been about depth: deeper roots in the community, deeper investment in the people we serve, and deeper expressions of our faith.
Today, Harvest Mission Church is a registered Canadian charity (No. 839916004RR0001) and an active participant in the social fabric of Burnaby, partnering with schools, agencies, and community organisations to multiply our impact.

What We Believe
Our Statement of Faith
We are a Christ-centred church that holds to the historic, orthodox Christian faith. We believe in the triune God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — and in the authority of the Bible as the inspired Word of God.
We affirm that every human being is made in the image of God, that all people have fallen short of God's glory, and that through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, true reconciliation and new life are freely available to all who believe.
We believe the church is called to be the presence of Christ in the world — bringing healing, justice, truth, and hope to every person and community it touches.
